The best part about riding your motorcycle in Idaho is that you don’t have to stop. You could plan a week long trip up and down the state and still not see everything you’d like to. You also can experience just as much nature at night as you did during the day. Here are our favorite camping spots for your motorcycle trip.

Lake Cascade State Park

Open year around, this campground will let visitors camp, picnic, hike, mountain bike, cycle, swim, play horseshoes, use motorized and non-motorized boats, sail, windsurf, fish, play water sports and more.

Bruneau Dunes State Park

Here you can fish, boat, picnic, bird watch, hike, horseback ride, fly kites, star gaze, and rent a sand board from the Visitor Center and sled. There’s no other location like this in Idaho, or in the West. The night skies will keep you looking up all night long.

City of Rocks National Reserve

The name reveals its beauty but there’s so much more. Visitors will experience the majesty of granite spires and monoliths reaching 60 stories tall. The very same seen by our settlers. Don’t get us started on all the rock climbing.

Priest Lake State Park

Priest Lake State Park lies just 30 miles from the Canadian Border, nestled deep below the crest of the Selkirk Mountains. There is so much to keep you coming back. Camp, picnic, hike, mountain bike, cycle, fish, boat, swim, horseshoes, motorized and non-motorized boating, water sports, volleyball, disc golf. You’ll also inhale the beauty of Priest Lake, a 19-mile long, over 300 foot deep lake.

Craters Of The Moon National Monument & Preserve

Another part of Idaho you need to see to believe. The landscape at Craters of the Moon was created by a handful of lava flows over time. The result is 618 square miles of out-of-the-world views.
